Beautiful looking floor when finished. Fitted this into my new Shower room and adds an elegant touch. Best thing is that it's solid plastic so not only strong but won't wear over time and you don't have to worry about the floor buckling or rotting from water. Easy to fit and easy to trim and cut to size. I used a multicutter.

The description says the exact opposite of the fitting instructions on this product: the description says "Because this flooring doesn’t expand, it can be fitted from room to room without door profiles for a truly seamless installation." yet the installation guide says "Depending on the climate conditions your flooring will expand or contract, it therefore needs to be kept a
suitable distance away from any fixed structures such as walls, supports, door frames, radiator pipes etc, this is called the expansion gap".
So which is right? I would like a flush finish so can i install without an expansion gap?

Hi,

Generally the aqua step products will not expand as much as laminate or other types of flooring but it is advisable to still leave an expansion gap to avoid any possible problems.

This is what we would always recommend.

Does the aqua step waterproof flooring require underlay?

Yes, Aquastep flooring is very much the same as Laminate flooring, ridged panels that click together, these will require an underlay.
