Generally you can use any of the underlays for this, the only thing to bear in mind, is if it's a concrete floor you are installing onto, it is important to ensure the underlay has a moisture or vapour barrier. Below is a link to our underlays for reference

When will my order arrive?
Our standard delivery provides orders to your door within 2-5 working days. As we want to ensure you'll be available to receive the delivery in person we will contact you to discuss a time and date that is most convenient for you. This means we can't ship any items out until we have spoken to you to confirm a date. Should there be any issues or delays likely for any reason, we will arrange an alternative date with you. Our priority is providing you with your flooring solution as quickly as possible at a time that suits you best.
How much will my delivery cost?
For Mainland UK standard delivery costs £19.99 for vinyl rolls and £34.99 for flooring packs. Additional charges will be applied for deliveries outside Mainland UK including Eire.
Can I choose a specific slot or a Saturday delivery?
If you need to receive your delivery within a tight timeframe, you can request for your flooring to be delivered at a specific time. This will incur a surcharge of £20, and is advised for those who will not be able to dedicate a full day to wait in for delivery. You can also request a morning delivery which has a surcharge of £12.50.
If you place your order any time throughout the week before 10am on Friday you can also choose to have a Saturday delivery slot. There is also a surcharge of £42.50 for this service.
Please note: Some services may be unavailable in certain parts of the country. All delivery prices displayed include Vat unless otherwise stated.
What else do I need to do?
All deliveries are made 'kerb side' and we recommend arranging adequate help to off load your goods if you are unable to manage the flooring yourself. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. Failed deliveries will incur a redelivery charge.

Amazing thick floor, and look's good once laid down. Even the joiner was impressed by the click system as he said he's never seen that type before but commented it was very good. Very happy with the floor.

Lovely colour and nice and thick. Easy to install. Had a few boards with damaged edges but managed to work around that using those boards for shorter cuts.

Arrived on time, was easy to lay and each panel fitted well together. The scotia/beading matched the floor colour very well and now that it is finished it looks great. My wife is pleased (which is the main thing) and we would recommend the flooring to others.

Nice flooring, one or two planks did has some very small bubbles so check before installing. The grey colour is slightly lighter than the pictures, I’d say it’s more silver than grey. Delivery driver was friendly and put the pallet as close to the front door as possible, well packaged and no damage. Highly recommended.

The floor that was delivered was summer oak but seemed the same as the silver oak. Ordered 12mm thickness. Was quite easy to install although some of the edges were broken before installation but on the whole it was good, Pleased with how it looks now it’s fitted

After been let down by another company before hand, we decided to look else where and we came across Factory Direct Flooring. We found the flooring we liked on their website and I thought I would email them first to make sure it was in stock and I got a reply within 10 mins and the product was in stock and they told me exactly when I could get it delivered. Customer service was spot on, never had to wait longer than a day to get a reply (especially due to the pandemic at the moment) everything was great. Delivery was made on time, driver phoned me 1 hour prior to let me know he was on his way. Nothing to fault at all. The board we ordered is beautiful and finishes off our new house perfectly. Highly recommend!

The flooring arrived and was not the name or colour of what we had ordered, however, after speaking to Flooring Direct, we realised it was just a different name but was still the same colour and thickness as what we had ordered.. The floor went down nicely and looks great. No problems at all with the flooring. I would buy again from them
