Remarkably durable, this flooring option doesn’t need the extra care that floors such as solid wood and engineered wood need. No varnishing or waxing is needed and laminate is also highly water resistant, making this solution perfect for busy homes with children, pets and lots of visitors. When it comes to cleaning, a simple damp mop is all that is required.
Laminate is composed of a photographic layer that appears like wood. This is placed under a protective layer which is placed above an inner core and a moisture barrier backing. The end result is a floor that’s hard wearing and able to resist high levels of moisture. Laminate is suitable in most rooms in the home but as it is not completely water resistant it’s unsuitable for moisture high rooms. Available in a range of colours and wood types, at Factory Direct Flooring Ltd we’re bound to have the right laminate flooring option for you.
