Classic Fibre Board EWA8 eco-friendly 5.5mm fibre board is a great all round wood and laminate floor underlay, helping to smooth out slightly uneven sub floors and creating a stable base to install your new wooden flooring on. This high quality wood floor underlay has excellent sound and thermal insulation qualities. It is light weight and easy to handle making it is quick and easy to install. Fibre board underlay can be used in conjunction with a damp proof membrane on moisture sensitive floors, i.e. new screeds, old quarry and minton tiled floors. Sold in packs of 10.03m2 and contains 20 panels which are 590mm x 850mm.

No fibre board is not suitable for LVT products, we supply one called prolay - this is an LVT underlay

What is best underlay for laminate? What is the main differences between classic fibre board or the silver msst expensive one?
how many packs would we need for 68m2? do we need tape as well if so how many?
Hello, There are many underlays for laminate, which gives you information on the specification of each individual underlay. I wouldn't be able to tell you what would be the best as I don't know what subfloor you have. Basically, if you have a concrete subfloor, an underlay with a moisture or a vapour barrier would be required. Different underlays have different pack sizes, which shows the coverage also on the website. Any more questions I would advise you give us a call on 03301 00 00 15 as we would need more info.

When will my order arrive?
Our standard delivery provides orders to your door within 2-5 working days. As we want to ensure you’ll be available to receive the delivery in person we will contact you to discuss a time and date that is most convenient for you. This means we can’t ship any items out until we have spoken to you to confirm a date. Should there be any issues or delays likely for any reason, we will arrange an alternative date with you. Our priority is providing you with your flooring solution as quickly as possible at a time that suits you best.
How much will my delivery cost?
For Mainland UK standard delivery costs £19.99 for vinyl rolls and £34.99 for flooring packs. Additional charges will be applied for deliveries outside Mainland UK including Eire.
Can I choose a specific slot or a Saturday delivery?
If you need to receive your delivery within a tight timeframe, you can request for your flooring to be delivered at a specific time. This will incur a surcharge of £20, and is advised for those who will not be able to dedicate a full day to wait in for delivery. You can also request a morning delivery which has a surcharge of £12.50.
If you place your order any time throughout the week before 10am on Friday you can also choose to have a Saturday delivery slot. There is also a surcharge of £42.50 for this service.
Please note: Some services may be unavailable in certain parts of the country. All delivery prices displayed include Vat unless otherwise stated.
What else do I need to do?
All deliveries are made ‘kerb side’ and we recommend arranging adequate help to off load your goods if you are unable to manage the flooring yourself. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. Failed deliveries will incur a redelivery charge.
