Delivery Details

We know how important a flooring purchase can be, which is why we pride ourselves on providing a quick and professional delivery service to all our customers.

When will my order arrive?

Our standard delivery provides orders to your door within 2-5 working days. As we want to ensure you’ll be available to receive the delivery in person we will contact you to discuss a time and date that is most convenient for you. This means we can’t ship any items out until we have spoken to you to confirm a date. Should there be any issues or delays likely for any reason, we will arrange an alternative date with you. Our priority is providing you with your flooring solution as quickly as possible at a time that suits you best.

How much will my delivery cost?

For Mainland UK standard delivery costs £29.50. Additional charges will be applied for deliveries outside Mainland UK including Eire.

Can I choose a specific slot or a Saturday delivery?

If you need to receive your delivery within a tight timeframe, you can request for your flooring to be delivered at a specific time. This will incur a surcharge of £20, and is advised for those who will not be able to dedicate a full day to wait in for delivery. You can also request a morning delivery which has a surcharge of £12.50.

If you place your order any time throughout the week before 10am on Friday you can also choose to have a Saturday delivery slot. There is also a surcharge of £42.50 for this service.

Please note: Some services may be unavailable in certain parts of the country. All delivery prices displayed include Vat unless otherwise stated.

What else do I need to do?

All deliveries are made ‘kerb side’ and we recommend arranging adequate help to off load your goods if you are unable to manage the flooring yourself. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. Failed deliveries will incur a redelivery charge.

Just wanted to say I had excellent service from Simon and the rest of the team at Factory Direct Flooring. Firstly they contacted me to advise that I had selected the wrong underlay for the click flooring, which they allowed me to change. They also arranged a next day Saturday AM delivery (yes in the middle of a pandemic and snow!) It meant I could get the job finished at least a week earlier. The floor is down and looks amazing. Excellent value and so polite even when I was being a pain!

No issues with product but would have been helpful to have measurements for this on ordering as it was not clear on area coverage per roll, had to buy extra elsewhere.

Can I use this underlay for underfloor heating? I have waterpipe heating running through both a concrete floor and floorboards?

The only underlays we supply for under floor heating is the heat therm plus for concrete subfloors

And for wooden subfloors you can use the normal heat therm

We live in a new build property currently with carpet would we need to screed before laying the laminate if we used this product?

a screed may not always be required, it depends on the subfloor. The subfloor should be as smooth as possible, clean dry and flat before installing the laminate on top. Please see the installation guide on the product page for more information. The underlay supreme with moisture barrier is fine to use with concrete subfloors.

I plan to use this underlay for engineered wood in my hall and dining room but have a small (2 sq mtrs) cloakroom off the hall where I want to use click vinyl tiles. Is this product suitable as an underlay for click vinyl tiles for this small area (on concrete)?

No, this is not possible as they are two completely different products and have different underlays, with click vinyl you require a very dense underlay for stability.
Please see our Prolay products which have been designed for this type of flooring.

Is this suitable with aquastep waterproof laminate to use in a bathroom, if not what is the recommended underlay to use in a bathroom? Thanks in advance

If you are installing on a concrete floor then this would be fine but if you are installing over a wood floor i would suggest Compact Board
