This exclusive Aqua Plank Traditional Oak Herringbone click vinyl floor is a popular choice for UK homeowners. Made from stone plastic composite, it boasts a striking real wood effect thanks to its registered embossed finish. Upon first glance, it’s hard to tell this is a vinyl, not a solid wood floor.

With its timeless, traditional oak Herringbone design, it is sure to blend in perfectly with any interior. It is made with heavy use in mind, suitable for both commercial and domestic environments. The manufacturer is so confident in the floor’s durability, they provide a 20-year domestic and 10-year commercial warranty.

The planks measure 480mm in length, 5mm in depth and 120mm in width. Each is fitted with a click system, ensuring they are fast and easy to install. They also come with a built-in underlay, eliminating the need to purchase it separately. The underlay adds extra comfort and warmth, as well as enhanced durability. You can also increase the warmth of the floor by installing it with a compatible underfloor heating system.

The durability of this floor is remarkable. Not only does its construction make it tougher than most vinyl floors, but it also comes with a 0.55mm wear layer and a PUR coating. The wear layer ensures everyday wear and tear doesn’t become a problem, while the PUR coating prevents scratches and stains.

The Aqua Plank Traditional Oak Herringbone click vinyl floor is ideal for use in the hallway, bathroom and reception area. Fully waterproof, it is packed full of impressive features which set it apart from the competition. Grab a free sample of the floor today to see for yourself just how extraordinary it truly is.

Ask a question

Our experts will answer it

Can you lay this flooring in a regular flat pattern? As in all of the 'A' planks run left to right and all of the 'B' planks run right to left. I'm pretty sure you can but thought I'd ask the question regardless.

This one isn't designed to be laid as straight planks no, they are designed to be installed as a herringbone pattern - below is a link to the traditional straight planks LVT

Answered 4 months ago

Can I use an extra underlay of maybe 1 - 2 mm think with this product for added vapour and thermal insulation...?

The only underlay we advise to use with this is the prolay underlay and a maximum thickness of 1.5 mm, always ensure the guidelines are followed as per the installation guide, otherwise this may cause movement of the planks and cause them to break loose.

When fitting lvt in a new kitchen can I fit the full room and fit the kitchen on top or should I fit after ,up to the cupboards ? will the kitchen on top cause it to move/ buckle ?

As the aqua plank requires an expansion gap around the perimeter, it is not advisable to fit anything on top of the flooring,

SO we would definitely advise to fit the flooring afterwards and follow the install guide ensuring there is adequate expansion around the whole perimeter of the installation area, including door frames, kitchen islands etc.

Answered 9 months ago

can this be laid over tiled flooring ?

Good Question to ask! The LVT products should be installed onto a smooth solid flat surface so that the joints are fully supported underneath.

So, No we wouldn't advise to install LVT over a tiled floor, it would be best to put hardboard over the tiles or a latex screed down first so you have a smooth, level surface to install onto without any groutlines etc.

Brilliant stuff. Best flooring I've layed in 25 years. Great quality Vinyl Clink flooring. I don't think I'll ever return to laminate.

I haven’t laid the floor yet, but the product is durable, attractive and the built in underlay is going to be so helpful! The herringbone click should be relatively simple to fit and we’re looking forward to putting it down soon!

Delivery was on time. Customer services were very helpful when we had issues paying online. Resolved quickly and were very efficient. On the whole we are very happy with the flooring. The only reason we didn't give it a 5* rating was that the click wasn't as good as we have experienced before with other brands and needed more heavy tapping with the mallet.
