Does this vinyl flooring require an underlay and if so which would you recommend?
Hi,
You wouldn't normally use an underlay with a sheet vinyl, but it is important to make sure the subfloor is prepared adequately and that it is smooth, solid and flat.

When will my order arrive?
Our standard delivery provides orders to your door within 2-5 working days. As we want to ensure you’ll be available to receive the delivery in person we will contact you to discuss a time and date that is most convenient for you. This means we can’t ship any items out until we have spoken to you to confirm a date. Should there be any issues or delays likely for any reason, we will arrange an alternative date with you. Our priority is providing you with your flooring solution as quickly as possible at a time that suits you best.
How much will my delivery cost?
For Mainland UK standard delivery costs £19.99 for vinyl rolls and £34.99 for flooring packs. Additional charges will be applied for deliveries outside Mainland UK including Eire.
Can I choose a specific slot or a Saturday delivery?
If you need to receive your delivery within a tight timeframe, you can request for your flooring to be delivered at a specific time. This will incur a surcharge of £20, and is advised for those who will not be able to dedicate a full day to wait in for delivery. You can also request a morning delivery which has a surcharge of £12.50.
If you place your order any time throughout the week before 10am on Friday you can also choose to have a Saturday delivery slot. There is also a surcharge of £42.50 for this service.
Please note: Some services may be unavailable in certain parts of the country. All delivery prices displayed include Vat unless otherwise stated.
What else do I need to do?
All deliveries are made ‘kerb side’ and we recommend arranging adequate help to off load your goods if you are unable to manage the flooring yourself. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. Failed deliveries will incur a redelivery charge.

Good value! Nice to walk on. Seems to make the room warmer. Very good non-slip finish. Nice pattern and the service from the company was very good, both delivery and dealing with my questions. Brilliant.

I ordered samples before buying and these arrived quickly. The samples were important in making a choice as the colours on screen are not accurate. The TEXSTEP vinyl looks great, delivery was fast and the product is excellent quality.

I have never layed sheet vinyl before but would definitely recommend felt backed vinyl. I layed it in the bathroom cutting around the basin and wc Easy to cut without tearing. The surface is tough and non slip. The colour looks lovely I would suggest watching the Factory Direct how to lay vinyl first if you have never done it before

Really pleased with this flooring and the service from Direct Flooring Ltd. The free sample service was outstanding and made all the difference in choosing the pattern/colour and deciding to buy. The Texstep flooring seems like an excellent product. Cuts easily but heavyweight quality and good sound deadening / warmth with the felt backing. Easy to handle and fit with very good grip on the surface. Great product, great value, great service. Highly recommended.

product was just what I wanted but the packaging was ripped due to bad packing by the delivery firm so that the delivery driver had a problem extracting it from the disordered mess.
