Love it, looks far better than I expected and is surprisingly warmer when walking on it bare foot than my other laminate flooring. Looks like real slate and have had postive comments

The colour and texture of these tiles is a perfect match for what we wanted in our lounge room renovation. They feel solid underfoot thanks to the relatively flat concrete floor and the underlay of 1.5mm foam is firm and doesn’t give too much. They look amazing to all that have seen them so far and comments are “can’t believe that’s not real slate” when told it is vinyl. The only minor negative feedback was from the contractor who laid them: a) the chamfered edges are a bit rough and inconsistent across the tiles, almost like they were done with a hand rasp; and b) they would fit together better if the clip lock was on all four edges instead of just two long sides - the interlocking on the short edges shows up more of the floor level fluctuations as a result. Otherwise we are really happy with the result!
I was very impressed with Factory Direct Flooring. They sent samples and product quickly and took the trouble to call to arrange a delivery slot. The flooring product looks good and is easy to fit. However, the configuration of click-slots is opposite to what is on the fitting instructions, meaning I have to lay the floor from the *right*, not the left - that needs sorting out to avoid buyers getting into difficulty.
Arrived promptly, kept well informed about delivery, colour and quality exactly as hoped, not yet laid but looks good, thanks
good product easy to fit prompt delivery
Quality product. Easy to fit. Excellent customer service.
This is an excellent company selling good quality vinyl click tiles at an affordable price. I changed my mind on the colour and they were very good in issuing me a refund without a problem. I then proceeded to buy even more tiles in a different shade because the quality etc was so good. Would highly recommend.
The floor looks fantastic in our kitchen thank you
very pleased with the flooring , great service and quick delivery . thank you
Great tile and best price.
Looks great on my kitchen floor!
This arrived same as the other flooring very very quick, I am absolutely over the moon with all that this company has help me with and will definitely use them again
The flooring is excellent, easy to lay easy to cut and because it's flexible it's so much easier than laminate, I've done my kitchen with it and now considering doing my living room with a nice wood effect one, I did my kitchen in the slate tile design and did a brick pattern and it looks good,my kitchen is quite big and it's a U shape so there were lots of fiddly bits but because of it being so flexible it made it easier to fit, also I have a slope and the tiles clicked in very well over it,it looks so much nicer now because I always used to have a join when I had my old laminate
I have laid vinyl flooring from B&Q, Howdens, Tile Giant and this has proven to be the easiest of the bunch and my customer is extremely please with the end product.
Knew this was a popular product line as I had huge difficulty finding stocks of our first, second and third choices.. (several different companies let us down) When delivery of Dragon Slate was delayed again, opted for Perlato Slate which was in stock, and am very happy with it. The floor is smart, quiet, warm, (Electric underfloor heating), softer than stone underfoot and very easy to care for. Would order again. For our next project I would use Dragon Slate with the longer guarantee, but order in plenty of time!
excellent, from sample to fitting.
Looks lovely on our shower room, good quality, warm underfoot, very pleased
High quality product. Easy to install with an ingenius water tight click system. High recommendation. Ordering simple. Delivery very quick.
Ask a question
Our experts will answer it
Could I lay this over existing vinyl? My floor is wood floorboards so if I cannot lay it on top of existing vinyl, does it need an underlay? Thanks
This can be laid on top of wood floorboards. The main priority is to make sure that it is completely level to be laid on top of.
An underlay is not mandatory, but if you are to install an underlay, I would use the prolay that we have online which is designed specifically for click vinyl products.

Do I need to put underlay under the floor?
This product can be installed with or without underlay, if both cases it is important that the subfloor is smooth and even.
