Having received a sample of this flooring (amongst others) it was a clear winner. I placed my order on a Sunday, I had a phone call the following day and delivery was arranged for Wednesday. Fantastic! Now that the flooring has been fitted and I can happily confirm that it’s absolutely gorgeous. Excellent quality engineered oak, beautiful character and texture to each plank and I’m so happy with it.

Ask a question
Our experts will answer it
What is the length of the starter boards?
I'm wanting to fix this directly on top of joists. I'm assuming this is fine (due to the thickness) but wanted to know the length of the starter boards, to make sure they can span the joists.
Starter boards are normally one full board inside the pack that has been cut down in size, these are normally a third of the board in length. One of the main reasons the industry does this is that it helps to reduce the cost of the overall product. This product is suitable to install over flooring joists as a load bearing floor.
