Solid wood flooring is exactly what it sounds like. A solid wood floor is constructed from planks of crafted wood joined together with either adhesive, tongue and groove, or also the click flooring method, which is available on some Parador products.

What is Click Flooring?

Click flooring is a new product that Factory Direct Flooring have been offering at very competitive prices. Solid wood click flooring takes the hassle (and the glue) out of fitting your new wood floor and makes it as simple as ‘clicking’ the pieces together.

There are a wide range of hardwoods available for solid wood flooring, including both Maple, Oak, Ash and Walnut, as well as numerous different colours and finishes to choose from, including lacquered, oiled and unfinished. Where can I Use Solid Wood Floors?

You can use solid wood floors in just about any room, however due to the wood’s nature and ability to absorb water and expand it’s not highly recommended for use in areas such as bathrooms, where waterproof flooring may be more suitable.

How is it fitted together?

Depending on the type of solid wood flooring you purchase, adhesives may be needed. Please check before completing your checkout to see whether your chosen flooring comes pre-glued.
