Choosing the correct flooring for your home or business is never easy as there are so many available; having the correct flooring accessories is even more difficult but extremely important. If you are installing a floor you will require an underlay or an adhesive of some description, concrete floors require a damp proof membrane whilst wooden floors do not. Flooring underlays for engineered floors, laminate floors and hardwood floors can have many different uses such as under floor heating and sound proofing. Once you have decided on the correct installation system you have to add those finishing touches, beading or scotia to cover the expansion gaps around the outside of the room and door profile to connect adjoining floors, radiator pipe covers and maybe skirting boards. Long term maintenance is really important and can extend the life of your new flooring and we advise all of our customers to purchase our maintenance kits
